The Professional Firefighters of Pewaukee IAFF Local 5241 is a labor organization that was established in 2020. Prior to 2020, the members of the Pewaukee Fire Department were an affiliate and represented by Waukesha Professional Firefighters Local 407. Today Local 5241 represents close to 100 bargaining members from the departments of Pewaukee, Sussex, and Lake Country Fire and Rescue. These members proudly serve the communities of City of Pewaukee, Village of Pewaukee, Village of Lisbon, Village of Sussex, City of Delafield, Town of Delafield, Town of Genesee, Village of Chenequa, Village of Nashotah, Village of Oconomowoc Lake, and The Village of Wales.
Our mission is to improve the lives of our members by fighting for fair wages and benefits and improved working conditions through the collective bargaining process.
Our members are committed to the communities they serve as well as supporting fellow firefighters through charitable work and community activism.
